Housebuilder gives boost to Chichester District Foodbank and The Four Streets Project

Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties has donated £250 to Chichester District Foodbank and £250 to The Four Streets Project in Chichester, local to its Shopwyke Lakes development, to continue its ongoing support for charities that provide essential cost of living support in the local area.

Chichester District Foodbank provides emergency food and other essential products to people living in poverty in and around Chichester. Taylor Wimpey’s donation of £250 is enough to support eight families, or 32 people, with enough food for three days.

Joanne Kondebeka, CEO at Chichester District Foodbank, said: “We're so thankful to Taylor Wimpey for their generous donation. It's donations like these that let us keep supporting people in our community who really need it. A huge thank you from everyone at Chichester District Foodbank.”

The Four Streets Project is run by a group of volunteers who provide nightly support to homeless and vulnerable people in Chichester. The charity’s evening supper club provides help, support, advice, food and essential items from St Paul's Church. Taylor Wimpey’s £250 donation will be put towards providing these services which have been provided every night for seven years.
