A-Levels: Excellent results at Angmering

ANGMERING sixth-form students are celebrating an “excellent” set of A-level results.

They achieved a 100 per cent pass rate for the second year running and the passes achieved at A*-B grades showed another increase, from 37 per cent to 40 per cent.

Tony Kerrison, director of studies for post-16 education, said: “This is a difficult year for university admissions and with fees set to rise in 2012 places are at a real premium, so I am delighted to see that the majority of our students have received offers from their first choice universities this morning.”
