A proud graduation day for students from Universtiy of Brighton
Praise Akinlotan gave her dad a congratulatory cuddle at his graduation during University of Brighton awards ceremony yesterday (Thursday February 9).
Her father Oladapo received his Doctor of Philosophy and was one of 1,800 students to graduate with many attending the ceremony at the Brighton Centre.
Professor Debra Humphris, the university’s Vice-Chancellor, in her welcome speech, said the university’s graduates came from no fewer than 89 countries and ranged in age from 19 to 72.
