Angmering School celebrate “best ever” GCSE results

DRIZZLE and light rain did not dampen the high spirits of expectant GCSE students at The Angmering School as they collected their results, today (Thursday).

Hundreds of students flocked to the school, which is this year celebrating its best ever GCSE results with roughly 71 per cent of students gaining at least five A* to C grades, to pick up their results.

The school also saw an impressive rise in the number of students gaining vital A* to C grades in both english and maths, with roughly 59 per cent of students achieving this, a 17 per cent increase over last year’s results.

The school is now celebrating its highest intake of A-level students into its sixth form.
