This week Collyer’s welcomed representatives from the Royal Caribbean Group, who visited to promote their new apprenticeship programme. The event saw an enthusiastic turnout, with 60 students from across the college attending to learn about this unique career opportunity.

The Royal Caribbean Group is offering a 12-month shoreside apprenticeship based in their Weybridge or London offices. This programme provides students with hands-on experience in a dynamic setting, allowing them to launch their careers in the travel and tourism industry.

During the visit, students discovered the benefits of the apprenticeship, which includes gaining a Level 3 Travel Consultant certification. The comprehensive scheme covers various shoreside operational departments, such as Marketing, PR, Commercial & Revenue, Sales, Call Centre, Finance, HR, Legal, and Marine.
