Arundel pupils put on a show for Pudsey

There was a whole host of Pudsey-filled fun at Arundel CE Primary School, this week.

The entire school – teachers and parents alike – joined in with Children in Need’s nationwide fund-raiser on Friday (November 16), with dozens of pyjama-clad youngsters taking part in the primary’s 4th ACE Has Got Talent show.

Pupils were even treated to a special appearance of some famous faces from hit tv talent show, Britain’s Got Talent – literally.

More than a dozen acts took to the stage during the two-hour bonanza at the school, in Jarvis Road.

There was an “eclectic” array of talent on offer at the show, from singers, dancers and puppeteers to drama/comedy acts, comedians and musicians.

The “celebrity” judges – one of the school’s governor, a parent, teacher and sports coach – hailed promising Irish dancer Eireann Wright, six, joint winner of the Key Stage 1 category alongside exuberant and enthusiastic comedian Archie Lee, five.

Key Stage 2 champions were Olly and the Muppets alongside solo singer, India Craddock, eight, who touched the judges with her emotional rendition of Gary Barlow’s Sing.
