Bexhill pupils isolating after Covid-19 case at primary school

A Bexhill primary school has confirmed a member of its community has tested positive for Covid-19.

King Offa Primary Academy, in Down Road, Bexhill, confirmed the news to parents on Friday (November 6).

In a letter, the school wrote: “We have been made aware of a member of our school community who have tested positive for Covid-19.”

The school said a small number of children who were in close contact with the individual who tested positive for the virus have been told to stay at home and isolate for 14 days.

The school has remained opened to all other pupils who have not received a separate letter or are not experiencing symptoms.#

King Offa Primary Academy is the fourth school in the area to confirm a case of Covid-19 since Friday.

The other schools are Hastings Academy, Ark Alexandra and Westfield School.
