These students have travelled to post 16 option events across the region.

At these events they help the next generation of students with their options.

The students kindly volunteered to give up their spare time to help pupils to make informed choices.

Collyer’s student Chloe Gardner said: “Being a Collyer’s ambassador has given me a fantastic opportunity to speak to pupils and parents and give them the full flavour of Collyer’s life from a student perspective!”

Ed Cray said: “This was my chance to give something back!

“Collyer’s has been brilliant for me and it’s been a privilege to talk to pupils and parents about the opportunities I’ve had.”

The Collyer’s ambassadors share a passion to help the next generation to understand the road into further education at the Ofsted outstanding sixth form college.

The student ambassadors are studying subjects right across the broad range of academic and vocational subjects and levels offered at Collyer’s.

Ed Cray added: “I wish Anisha Wakefield and Nic Mortimer-Cook, first year Collyer’s ambassadors who also supported today’s event, every success with the rest of the team this autumn!

“Chloe and I will certainly miss it!”
