Coolham school triumphs in ‘Name a Gritter’ competition
Pupils at William Penn Primary School, in Brooks Green Road, came up with the name ‘Snow Buster’ and this week one of the Balfour Beatty-operated gritters will visit the school to be christened.
The vehicle will visit the school, where pupils will be presented with a grit bin, grit salt, snow shovel, and a £20 High Street voucher for the child who came up with the winning name.
