Supporting more than 80 families with babies and children, the DVLT offers all of its services completely free of charge; with no government funding all money has to be generated by the fundraising team.

Whilst at the school, Sophia was welcomed by the Chairman of the DVLT, Peter Sutton, who is also Managing Director of Billingshurst marketing company, PMW Communications, organisers of the A2B Walk.

He thanked Sophia for her involvement in this weekend’s charity marathon hike, and said: “Sophia’s visit was a fantastic success.

“Not only was she inspiring to listen to, but she has also spurred us all on to make sure Saturday is as successful as possible.”
