New View, in St Mark’s Lane, was visited by inspector Rebecca Khabbazi on March 9 and her findings were published on March 31.

Rating the nursery ‘outstanding’ in all areas, Ms Khabbazi said: “Staff act as excellent role models and build caring, trusting relationships with children.”

Describing the youngsters as making “excellent progress”, she added: “They are extremely well prepared for future learning.”

New View had been rated ‘outstanding’ following its previous inspection in 2011 and news of the double success was greeted with delight by New View staff, especially manager Sharon Rea.

She said: “Being recognised as an outstanding provider in 2011 was an incredible achievement in itself but to retain it is even more rewarding.”

She was full of praise for her staff, who were described by Ms Khabbazi as “highly motivated to provide the best quality care and education for children”.

Mrs Rea said: “I am so very proud of each of them. Most of all, our wonderful children made it quite evident to the inspector that they love New View Nursery and that they have a fabulous time as our fantastic Ofsted report shows.”

Explaining how she and her staff had worked to maintain and develop the areas highlighted for praise in Ms Khabbazi’s report, she added: “Recognition at this level is testament to the continued passion and commitment of the whole team.”
