Ofsted’s most recent visits to the school have reported on the speed of improvements, making it a desirable choice for parents looking for a school in the area.

Headteacher Stuart Smith said: “This is such an exciting time to be part of Thomas Bennett and we welcome all students from the surrounding area. The past two years have seen huge successes for the school, including the best set of GCSE and A-level results in the school’s recent history as well as a very positive visit from Ofsted.”

Mr Smith and his team are committed to do their best for the students, raising their aspirations and making the school and exciting place to work and study.

He added: “Students take pride in their own success and their school. Staff work together and are firmly committed to improving the life chances of their students.”

While this year’s tour has to be done virtually, they hope to return to traditional, welcoming visits in person next year. For now, the virtual tour will ensure that prospective parents and students have the chance to sample the school’s values and ethos. You can watch a film of the school, listen to the headteacher’s speech and hear from students reflecting on their time there.
