Alzheimer’s Society road show to visit Broadbridge Heath

The Alzheimer’s Society’s road show offers free information and advice to anyone with queries about the condition, as well as helping to promote the benefits of an early diagnosis.

During its current tour of the south east, the Tesco-funded vehicle will be based at the Tesco Extra store in Wickhurst Lane between 10am and 4pm.

Those living with dementia, worried about a friend or relative or anyone with questions can visit with no appointment necessary.

Chris Wyatt, the Alzheimer’s Society’s area manager for the south east, said: “The Dementia Community Road show helps us to reach out to local communities and people who may not know where to turn for help.

“Getting a diagnosis is the first step in unlocking the support and potential treatments that are available. Receiving an early diagnosis enables people to get access support when they need it and gives them the opportunity to plan for the future.

“We’re here to provide people with information about where to get help and encourage those with concerns about their memory to visit their GP.” The road show has reached 3,000 people on its current tour of the south east.
