Care home could be built next to popular garden centre

An application has been submitted to Wealden council by Barchester Healthcare to build on land to the west of Stone Cross Garden Centre in Dittons Road.

The bid is a major outline application for the care home, landscaped garden and parking facilities.

It is likely there will be a full consultation over the plans ahead of a decision being made by council planning members.
