Coronavirus figures for confirmed cases in East Sussex rise

Public Health England data says 593 people in East Sussex have now tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19), according to figures published today, which is a rise of five since yesterday (Saturday, May 2).
The figure for Brighton and Hove is 381, also an increase of five since yesterday.

Hide AdAcross the Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust, a total of 100 people have died, an increase of three since Friday (May 1).
East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, which runs the Conquest Hospital in St Leonards, Bexhill Hospital and Eastbourne’s DGH, has seen 64 people die of coronavirus, a figure which remains unchanged since Friday.
