Coronavirus: Pagham pub offers food delivery service

A Pagham pub has has 'amazing' offers of support from the community as it set up a food delivery service for people who are self isolating.

Nearly 200 people have offered to spend their time delivering for The Lion pub in Nyetimber Lane.

Landlord Guy Curtis said: "We are offering to deliver hot food for people who can't get out of the house. The idea is just to help the people who are stuck at home and can't get out and do things for people.

"We have had loads of people volunteering to deliver, nearly 200. I'm amazed — it's lovely to see people coming together like that in a time of need."

The pub will be delivering in the local areas including Pagham, Rose Green and Aldwick with a shortened menu.
