The TKAT trust closely monitors all confirmed cases, according to Christine. She said: “Across the trust numbers remain low. This is an indication of the measures our schools have put in place.”

Christine confirmed the pupil who tested positive has not been in school since Friday last week and praised parents for their support.

She added: “We have had really, really great support from them. They’re brilliant.”
