Thousands of coronavirus vaccinations have been given at the council-run Sovereign Centre since the beginning of the year.

But with the seafront venue due to open again to members as part of the easing of lockdown restrictions next Monday (April 12), the clinic has now moved to the new Sovereign Harbour Community Centre from today (Tuesday, April 6).

On Saturday (April 4), some 2,800 residents received their vaccination at the Sovereign Centre against the virus – which equates to one person every 14 seconds.
