Horsham GPs say they will offer jabs against coronavirus to more people ‘soon’

Doctors from Courtyard Surgery, Rudgwick Medical Centre, Southwater Village Surgery and Cowfold Surgery say there are ‘a few’ over 80-year-olds in the district who have not yet been vaccinated - but they will get their jabs ‘this week.’

However, they urge people not to contact the surgeries, but to wait to receive their jab invitation letters.

They say housebound over-80s will also be vaccinated shortly - followed soon by younger age groups when the Government gives the go-ahead.

The doctors posted their announcement in a Covid-update message on Couryard Surgery’s Facebook page where they thanked everyone involved in helping to give more than 1,200 vaccinations at Christ’s Hospital saying: ‘Another epic challenge supported by so many amazing services. They were truly inspirational.’
