The latest Covid-19 infection rates, cases and deaths in Lewes district

A further 89 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the Lewes district in the past 24 hours, according to figures by Public Health England.

And in the past seven days (December 30 to January 5), 688 people have tested positive for the disease.

One death has been reported in the past 24 hours – figures also show – while 13 people have died within 28 days of testing positive.

Meanwhile, figures below, collated by the NHS, shows the Covid-19 infection rate for each neighbourhood in Wealden for the seven-day period up to December 30.
