The MP visited the newest hub at Henfield Medical Centre on Saturday and thanked staff and volunteers for their commitment and determination to deliver the anti-Covid vaccine themselves.

Andrew has been calling for the mobilisation of all possible resources to deliver vaccine and has been supporting ‘A Shot In The Arm’ campaign by West Sussex County Times’ publishers JPIMedia.

The Henfield hub has become the second in the Chanctonbury Primary Care Network, working in parallel with The Glebe in Storrington.

Dr Crawford-Clarke showed Andrew around the eclinic which is currently vaccinating the over 70s cohort from their 10,500 patients.

Community volunteers are supporting the effort by helping to marshal visitors into the car park and welcoming them through the doors with a big smile.

Andrew Griffith said: “I am delighted for the team at Henfield. I know how hard they worked to prove they had the capacity to become a vaccination hub.

“The positive response of local residents shows the benefit of the West Sussex County Times’s ‘A Shot in the Arm’ campaign to have more local pharmacies and GP clinics across the county and I will continue to support calls for more sites.”
