No new Covid-19 deaths registered in Crawley since early June

No new coronavirus deaths have been registered in Crawley since June 5, according to new figures.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) said up until June 19 (including deaths registered up to June 27) 75 people have died in Crawley with Covid-19.

But no new Covid-19 deaths have been recorded since June 5.

The figures include deaths where there is any mention of Covid-19 on the death certificate.

Fifty-four people died in hospital, 18 in care homes, two at home and one in a hospice.

In the same period there were 439 deaths registered, according to the ONS.
