Pictures show huge queues for coronavirus testing at Amex Stadium

Motorists have been queuing all around the Amex Stadium after the Government announced more people are eligible for coronavirus testing.

Brighton and Hove Albion’s stadium has been converted into a makeshift drive-through testing centre, the largest on the south coast. It is designed to accommodate 1,000 tests per day. As well as key workers, the Government has announced everyone in England aged 65 and over with coronavirus symptoms can now get tested, along with symptomatic members of their household. Symptomatic workers who are unable to work from home also eligible for testing.
