Students isolating at Crawley secondary school after coranavirus case is confirmed

Students at a Crawley secondary school are isolating after a coronavirus case was confirmed there.

Rev Millwood, headteacher of Holy Trinity Church of England secondary school, said a member of our school community has tested positive for COVID-19.

She added: “The school and our staff are following advice from health experts and West Sussex County Council closely.

“In following this advice, a number of students and members of staff have been identified as contacts with the confirmed case. They have received letters asking them to stay at home for 14 days and to follow the national guidance on self-isolating.”

Rev Millwood said the school is grateful to parents, carers and staff for their understanding and patience.

She added: “The health of all of our community is our main priority and we will continue to follow the guidance we are given and will update our school community accordingly.”
