Sussex coronavirus vaccine: This is how many people have had the jab

As of yesterday (February 18), 464,260 doses have been administered across the county – around a third of its total population.
According to NHS England, 92 per cent of residents over 80 have now been given their first jab.

Hide AdOf people aged 75-79, 71,966 have had their first jab, according to the NHS’s figures. The Office for National Statistics estimates there are 70,996 people in that age bracket in the county which points to potentially every member of that group now having received some form of protection.
Ninety-four per cent of people over the age of 70 in Sussex have had their first dose.
A further 8,152 people in that category have also had a second dose.
West Sussex has delivered 238,627 doses, East Sussex 167,822 and Brighton and Hove 57,811.
Almost 17 million people have had at least one dose of the vaccine in the UK.
