The number of Covid-19 deaths in each area of Hastings

New figures showing the number of Covid-19 related deaths across each area of Hastings since March show no deaths with the virus were recorded in July.

The latest figures from the Office for National Statistics show the number of Covid-19 deaths in each area of the town in the five months from March to July.

Hastings has recorded a total of ten deaths since March, according to the data.

In March, one death was recorded, in the Ashdown area.

April was Hastings’ worst month for Covid-19 deaths with a total of six – one in Braybrooke and Bohemia, one in Central St Leonards, one in Hollington, one in Old Hastings and two in Silverhill.

Then in May, two further Covid-19 deaths were recorded in Hastings – one in Braybrooke and Bohemia and one in West St Leonards.

In June, one Covid-19 death was recorded in Hollington.
