The figures, published yesterday (June 5) by NHS England, showed there were no coronavirus-related deaths in West Sussex recorded yesterday.

These are the death figures so far for the NHS trusts that cover hospitals in West Sussex.

Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (St Richard's Hospital, Chichester, Worthing Hospital): 110

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust: 17

Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust: 247

These figures do not include deaths in care homes, which are published separately.

The amount of confirmed coronavirus cases in West Sussex was 1,335, according to Government statistics.

Nationally, there have been 40,465 coronavirus deaths, with 204 recorded deaths today (June 6).
