West Sussex school isolates 26 pupils and four staff after positive coronavirus test

The head teacher of Vale School in Findon in Worthing, Martin Garratt, confirmed one child tested positive for coronavirus last week after displaying symptoms of Covid-19.
As soon as the case was identified, the entire bubble connected to the child was sent home and told to self-isolate for 14 days, Martin said, in line with Public Health England guidelines.

Hide Ad"We follow Public Health England guidance in all cases," he said.
"We're also very appreciative of the support from the school community and the parents dealing with this."
Vale School is a primary school in Vale Avenue, Findon Valley.
Schools across the country reopened on September 1 in line with Government guidance.
