Bohunt School Worthing, in Broadwater Road, sent a letter to parents today (October 27), informing them two members of the 'school community' had tested positive for Covid-19.

The letter said the 'small number of children' who had been in contact with those infected had been told to self-isolate for 14 days.

Any parents not contacted personally, the letter said, should continue to enjoy half term and return to the school as normal on Monday.

It is not clear how many children have been forced to self-isolate, nor whether any teachers have been affected.

The school's letter said it was following Public Health England guidance and the situation was being closely monitored.

Bohunt has been contacted for more information.
