Covid case numbers stable in Mid Sussex

Covid cases have only risen slightly in Mid Sussex, government figures show.

Some 451 Covid cases were recorded in the district in the seven days until August 19.

This is a rate of 296.4 per 100,000 people.

The case number for the seven-day period until August 12 was 449.

Since the start of the pandemic 11,079 cases and 270 deaths within 28 days of a positive test have been recorded.
