Ryan Philip Bell, 30, was found with injuries consistent with a fall from height on January 3, 2020.

Mr Bell, who was from Bracknell, was a “complicated young man” and “didn’t have a conventional lifestyle”, according to his mother who attended the Eastbourne inquest along with Mr Bell’s father and their partners.

Mr Bell was intelligent, well-travelled and had told family members that he had found God and planned to go to Brazil to help children in need before his death.

He often visited America and Estonia where he had bank accounts and had moved between houses in the UK.

The inquest also heard that Mr Bell had been diagnosed with ADHD and had self-medicated with drugs he purchased online.

East Sussex coroner James Healy-Pratt said, “This young man suffered from a history of depression and delusional episodes.

“Despite family support his condition worsened and on January 3, 2020 at Beachy Head he took his own life and fully intended to do so.”

Mr Healy-Pratt ruled that Mr Bell’s death was a suicide.
