Horsham GP surgery joins ParkRun in health and wellbeing campaign

Some of the team at Courtyard Surgery took on their first ParkRun challenge on Saturday October 20.

Courtyard Surgery is the first GP practice in Horsham to take part in the initiative between the Royal College of General Practitioners and ParkRun UK.

The campaign promotes the health and wellbeing benefits of joining in with the events.

The participants, including GPs, administration staff and their families, were welcomed by the Horsham Park Run event director and team of volunteers.

The runners were cheered all around the course, which was appreciated by the whole team.

The first team member back was Dr Charkin in a blisteringly fast 24 minutes and 39 seconds.

Moving forward, the surgery will continue to take part in and promote the Horsham Park Run event.
