The Hospital has 430 beds. It has an outpatient’s ward, A&E, Intensive Care, maternity ward and an NHS Treatment Centre. Among its speciality wards it has the Bariatric service for those suffering from obesity and a cancer day unit called the Fenhurst Centre.

Southlands Hospital, Shoreham-by-sea

A member of the Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust.

This hospital focuses on day surgery, orthopaedics, intermediate care and medicine for the elderly. It also has a large outpatient facility which specialises among other things on, older peoples mental health and neurological and stroke rehabilitation.

Worthing Hospital, Worthing

Worthing hospital, along with Southlands and St Richard’s Hospitals is a member of the Western Sussex Hospital NHS Trust.

It has over 500 beds, with a full range of services, including a maternity ward, outpatients, A&E and Intensive Care. Among its specialised units it has an eye unit and West Sussex Breast Screening facility.

This Hospital was designed by architect, Charles Barry, who also designed the Houses of parliament.

The hospital boasts the new Audrey Emerton Building a medical education centre and library. As well as this they also have cancer services, cardiac surgery, maternity ward, renal services and Intensive care for Adults and new born babies.
