Hospital’s League of Friends bike riders raised £1,230

The Princess Royal Hospital League of Friends’ team of 24 cyclists in the Haywards Heath Bike Ride raised £1,230 for the League’s continuing work to provide equipment and resources for patients. Some of the funds will go towards the development of a Rapid Access Medical Unit for seriously ill patients to be assessed and treated overnight without disturbing in-patients on medical wards. The League also had stalls on the bike ride route and at the end and thanked all its supporters.
