Inquest held into death of Peacehaven man

A double amputee with a long history of drug abuse was found dead at his home in Peacehaven, an inquest has heard.

Timothy Adsett, a 59-year-old man living in Meridian Court in Cavell Avenue, was discovered by carers who regularly went in to look after him.

An inquest in to his death was held at Eastbourne Town Hall on Thursday (September 17).

East Sussex coroner Alan Craze was told Mr Adsett had been taking morphine for some time and had stored up his prescriptions of the drug.

Mr Craze recorded a verdict that Mr Adsett’s death was due to drug dependency.
