A verdict of death due to hypothermia has been recorded at an inquest into the death of a 66-year-old Eastbourne woman.

Maureen McFetters was found dead in her home in Ashgate Road by police on December 14 last year.

The alarm had been raised by her family who said the sales assistant was an extremely private person and her health had not been good since the death of her husband.
