A look inside the derelict Aquarena swimming pool in Worthing: in pictures

Take a look inside the derelict Aquarena swimming pool in Worthing before it got demolished.

The photos were taken in 2016, before the Brighton Road site was demolished ahead of the current development there. Connor Jordan and Ross Everest, both 21 and from Burgess Hill, took the shots. Connor said he entered through an open fire door. He said: “It was like a ghost town in there, very eerie. You could actually hear the wind pushing against the windows. It was a good explore; one of the best I have done.” He also has a Facebook page, Derelict in the UK, and a YouTube channel of his urban exploring, The Explorer Returns, with 2.1million views on one video.
