Looking back at Newick spring show 2019 in pictures

Newick Horticultural Society wishes all good health at this unprecedented time. This year’s spring show, the May plant sale and talks have all had to be cancelled but members are still working away in their gardens. We thought it was a good time to look back at last year’s spring show.

Seven awards were presented, including the Humphry Cup for the best exhibit in show, which went to Jane Welfare for her daffodil entry. In the junior section, the Newick Horticultural Junior Cup for the highest number of points went to Poppy Falconer and the Bill and Enid Holmes Cup for the best exhibit was awarded to Emily Izzard.
