NEVER mind the boys, who remembers It's A Knock-out?

It was prime time viewing for many years but this particular local event took place in a Bexhill school, and the 11th Bexhill All Saints cubs were one of the teams.

Ann Dicks was Akela for about 20 years so it’s understandable she cannot remember who these boys were, or what particular year it was.

“I helped run the cubs for years,” said Ann, of De La Warr Road.

“Most of them would be in their 40s now, I imagine. We had this It’s A Knock-Out in one of the schools up there in Hastings Road, where Southland Court was until it closed. I think it was called Sandown School, that’s the name that rings a bell.”

She can identify Sean Bryant who is on the left of the shield, and his brother Steven in front, but no-one else in the picture.
