#SaltSearch treasure hunt as The Salt Room opens

To mark the opening of The Salt Room, it is organising an interactive treasure hunt.

To mark the opening today (Friday) of The Salt Room, Brighton and Hove's smartest new restaurant is organising an interactive treasure hunt across the city's most famous landmarks.

#SaltSearch starts at 10am, with hidden prize cards - and daily clues and riddles posted on The Salt Room's Twitter page: @TheSaltRoomUK.

The prizes on offer are: a £100 voucher; a £50 voucher; a two-course Sunday lunch for two, with wine; cocktails for four; a bottle of wine; and desserts for four.

If you follow the clues posted on Twitter, they will lead you to the #SaltSearch prize cards. All you have to do to win is tweet a picture of you at the secret location, tagging @TheSaltRoomUK with #SaltSearch.

Bonus prizes will also be available and announced on Twitter.

Raz Helalat, the owner of The Salt Room at 106 Kings Road - and sister restaurant to The Coal Shed - said: 'There's already such a buzz online and around the city for our opening, it's only right we do something exciting to celebrate.'

Announcing the treasure hunt, a spokesperson said: "There'll already be a great atmosphere in Brighton over the weekend with the half-marathon and - who knows? - maybe some of the secret locations will be along the race route! Keep an eye out on Twitter over the next week to find out more!"
