A promising year ahead for acoustic talent

PROMISING acoustic talent Rich Lown is hoping this year proves even more exciting and productive than the one just ended.

The Bexhill singer/songwriter has a promo tour coming up and the first slot on it will be a live set and interview on Wave105fm.

He also has an industry showcase on March 1 at The Bedford in London, which will allow him to gauge the reaction of key figures in the music industry.

Rich has lived in Bexhill for almost 20 years and went to King Offa primary school before shipping out to Claverham College in Battle.

His talents were spotted online by Fierce Management, which signed him up and began helping him develop as an artist.

In November he spent a week in Liverpool recording and writing, and he also attended the Christmas Lights switch-on with Rebecca Ferguson of X-Factor fame.

He has been working hard on his music throughout and is expecting his album to be released this year.

Rich said; “2011 has been quite a transitional year for me with my music.

“Alongside making this big step in my career, I had been writing more new material then ever before, freshening and defining my style even more.

“I can’t wait to get back under way in the New Year and show everyone what I can do.”
