A tale of love loss and loneliness

A tale of love, weakness and betrayal, Ghosts by Henrik Ibsen, is at The Stables Theatre, Hastings, from March 8 to 16.

Love, weakness, betrayal, hope, loneliness and loss are all examined through an extraordinary day in the life of Mrs Helen Alving who is opening an orphanage in memory of her late husband.

An old family friend, Pastor Manders, has come from town with legal documents, and her son Oswald is lately returned from Paris, where he has lived for the past 20 years.
