CLOSE to 300 people entered Findon Flower Show earlier this month with their flowers, plants and vegetables taking centre stage.

Maureen Bowen, Findon Flower Show committee member, said: “It was an excellent turn out for the show. We were extremely lucky with the weather again.

“The tombola, the raffle, the plants and the cake stall all did extremely well. The charity we invited this year was the RMLI and they were well supported.

“Some of the flower arrangements were absolutely exquisite, they were beautiful. I want to say thank you to all the businesses in Findon Village and Findon Valley who contributed excellent prizes to the raffle.”
