Book of Common Prayer Service at Chichester Cathedral

A COMMEMORATIVE service is being held in Chichester Cathedral to mark the 350th anniversary of the Book of Common Prayer.

The service is on Saturday, October 13, at 10.30am and will be taken by the Very Revd Nicholas Frayling.

The preacher will be the Archdeacon of Lewes and Hastings, the Venerable Philip Jones.

The sung service will be led by the Wessex Cantorum under music director Mark Burgess.

All are welcome to attend the service, followed by lunch in the Vicars’ Hall and a talk by head verger Howard Waddell.
