Busy afternoon ahead at East Preston’s summer show

EAST Preston and Kingston Horticultural Society will hold its annual summer show on Saturday (August 3), at 2pm at the village hall Sea Road, East Preston.

Exhibitors will be competing in 23 vegetable and fruit classes, 40 flower classes and 24 for cookery, as well as craft and children’s classes.

There will also be a plant stall, raffle, cake stall, tombola and charity stalls, and on the neighbouring Warren Recreation Ground, a fun dog show.

Tea will be served throughout the afternoon.

Music will be played by the Worthing Silver Band and the popular Robbie the Magician will be entertaining the children.

Admission to the show is 50p, with children free.
