Jaguar evening anoutstanding success

Jaguar owners gathered in Eastbourne on a warm summer’s night last month to enjoy an evening in the company of premier Jaguar Specialist JAGtechnic.

More than 80 guests attended the company’s ‘Summer Open Event’ to view the modern facilities and watch the unveiling of yet another fully refurbished Jaguar for the recently retired ‘Jaguar Worldwide Dealer Training Manager’ Peter Leake, shown pictured with JAGtechnic owner Paul Chipp-Smith.

Peter later encapsulated guests with an Audio Visual Talk on the history of the legendary Jaguar E-Type.

Peter was referred to JAGtechnic by none other than the Jaguar Heritage Trust, following extensive work carried out by JAGtechnic on the Trust’s 1956 Long Nose D-Type, reportedly valued at more than £7m.

The company later provided mechanical and race support on the famous Mille Miglia, the Italian one thousand mile historic road race and then closer to home at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in West Sussex.

Culinary skills were provided on the evening by the chef’s from the ‘Brampton Diner’, (46 Brampton Road, Eastbourne) providing a host of exquisitely cooked barbequed dishes throughout the night.

JAGtechnic arrived in Eastbourne a little over two-and-a-half years ago, prior to the closure of the town’s Jaguar dealership and workshop.

The company quickly established itself as a leading Jaguar Service Centre attracting the attention of the town’s many Jaguar owners and more recently the interest and the skills of the highest-skilled Jaguar technicians that had previously maintained these vehicles.

“He joins his old work colleague James Miller, a Level 4 Master Technician having joined the company in 2012 following 21 years within the Eastbourne Jaguar dealership.”

Paul Chipp-Smith continued “JAGtechnic has become the fastest growing independent Jaguar specialist in the southeast.

“The recent appointment of ‘Jaguar Extended Warranty Repairer’ further reassures customers that only experienced Jaguar trained Technicians, utilising genuine Jaguar parts will work on their vehicle.”
