The display has been compiled by Lec’s former owner, Sime Darby, to mark the start of building work on the Sainsbury’s store which on much of the factory’s site on Shripney Road.

It has been prompted by the high level of interest in Lec, even though it closed in 2004, which became apparent during the consultation about the regeneration of the land.

The exhibition will be staffed from 4pm-8pm next Thursday and 10am-4pm at the weekend.
