Charity sale for Chestnut Tree House

THE final day of a grand charity auction is approaching.

Triathlete Sarah Jouault, who was featured on the Observer’s Inspirations page earlier this year, is holding the auction in a bid to reach her goal to raise £100,000 for children’s charities before her 60th birthday.

The auction has been running at Sarah’s salon Dimitri Hair & Beauty, 54-56 Felpham Road, Felpham.

Monday (July 22) will see the close of the auction with an ‘everything must go’ sale at the salon at 7.30pm.

“Everyone is welcome, don’t miss this last chance to bid on these amazing lots,” said Sarah.

“All monies to Chestnut Tree House and the Rocking Tree appeal.”

Over the last 13 years, Sarah has raised tens of thousands of pounds for charities including Chestnut Tree House, Rocking Horse, Snowdrop trust, Great Ormond Street, Whizz Kids and the baby unit at St Richard’s Hospital, Chichester.

Now she is close to her epic fundraising target and hopes Monday’s event will take her even closer.

Lots for the auction include luxury days at the races, flights, limo rides, holidays, driving experiences, meals out and beauty treatments.
