Choir rises to challenge of Bach’s Mass in B Minor

One of the supreme achievements in classical music will be sung by Battle Choral Society at the next concert on Saturday, May 18, at Christ Church, Silchester Road, St Leonards.

Bach’s Mass in B Minor is a challenge to any choir and Battle Choral Society has been aided in its preparations by president, renowned mezzo-soprano Louise Winter, who has spared time from her busy concert schedule to give them the benefit of her experience and expertise.

Louise will be leading the soloists for the performance in Christ Church, and she will be joined by Grace Constable (soprano), Gary Marriot (tenor) and Michael White (baritone).
