Comedy on the Roof from ‘gripping’ Carl

Comedy on the Roof is presented by the De La Warr Pavilion as part of a series of special one-off pop u-events for the London 2012 Festival, the spectacular 12-week nationwide celebration running from Midsummer’s Day on June 21 until the final day of the Paralympic Games on September 9.

Carl Donnelly, star of Mock the Week, Russell Howard’s Good News, Dave’s One Night Stand and Stand Up For The Week, has fast established himself as one of the most exciting young comedians around.

His conversational style and silly sense of humour saw him win a host of awards (Chortle Best Newcomer 2007, Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2007, Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer Nominee 2009) and become a regular at some of the finest comedy clubs in the UK and Ireland.
